THE FUTURE OF CARING
Paco Underhill
On March 31st, SSILL welcomed back Paco Underhill to talk about “The Future of Caring”. Paco is the founder of Envirosell, and is a best selling author of Why We Buy. Paco provided a dynamic presentation to the SSILL membership using a interesting perspective on Aging, Health and Wellness.
Paco has worked with many companies around the world in the Health and Wellness space and has helped them to bring their products and services to the consumer.
Paco made comparisons between the United States and other countries (Korea, Brazil, and Switzerland) with regard to how companies display or market their products. Seoul is considered the epicenter of beauty and wellness. Paco shared an example from Brazil showing how they organize their products in a way that deals with the person’s problem.
Paco also talked about the changes that are helping people access care in a more timely fashion. “The Minute Clinic” at CVS is one example of getting one’s problem addressed more quickly than waiting for a doctor’s appointment. Nurses can be of great help, you don’t always have to see the doctor. It was clear from Paco’s talk that “The Future of Caring” is truly evolving.
One SSILL member commented that the presentation was “eye opening information providing a lot of common sense to how people move and react”. To learn more about Paco’s work please visit the Envirosell website at: www.envirosell.com
