On March 12th, SSILL welcomed Jennifer Wenderoth-Holster, Executive Director of the Women and Family Life Center located in Guilford at 96 Fair Street. The Center services fourteen towns in Connecticut. Jennifer explained the various programs and support that the center provides.
They provide legal counseling, financial counseling, assistance with career preparation, help for domestic abuse victims, and this is just to name a few of the services that they offer. One SSILL member stated “Good to learn more about an organization I have supported for years”. Another attendee stated “Very informative, I didn’t realize that there is so much help out there, super!” The Women and Family Life Center’s motto is “Support, Empower, Grow”.
